Using the comments made by their classmates and the grade they received on their first presentation, the students will make changes to their arguments and speaking skills. They will have 2 days to prepare for debates with the international students. Using Skype, ePals, or some other source that connect your classroom with a classroom in another state or country, the students will debate against other students. Before the debate, it is important to get in contact with the teacher of the other classroom and make sure that their students will be prepared at the same day and that they use the same debate topics. After their debate, have them write a one-page reflection about their experience, what they learned, their reaction to interacting with foreign students, and if they still think they could improve their debate and speaking skills.
